Error with File Drag & Drop field.

What happened?

I am using "File Drag & Drop" field to upload PDF file. While submitting the form, this field keep showing required validation error even file is already selected in this field. I inspected the browser console and found this error:

How can we reproduce this?

1. Create a form with "File Drag & Drop" field
2. Drag & drap or select a file to upload
3. Submit the form. It will still show "This field is required" and form will not be submitted.

Sorry for the trouble @bhashkar007,

Just to confirm, have you checked off PDF files as allowed file types in the settings for this field?

Can you send a screenshot of your Freeform Diagnostics page as well as the property editor (settings) for the File Upload Drag and Drop field inside the form builder? 🙂

Also, can you try updating to Freeform 5.9.2+? We fixed a bug where not all errors were being shown in File Drag & Drop fields... so maybe that is part of the issue here. 🙂
