Prevent automatically handle rewrite/change on label change event when not empty

What is your idea?

Hi,

would it be possible to prevent automatically rewrite of the field handle when the value is not empty?

I create some default favorite fields to be reused like

• firstname
• lastname

if it is used in multi language website, the handle should remain firstname, but if we translate the label, it s automatically copied from the label. In case of long form, it can be annoying.

Let's say I create some favorites preset fields which can be easily then selected when create a new form

• Firstname (label: Firstname, handle: firstname).

If I select it, and just translate the label into French, I think the handle should not be modified.
