Helm: StatefulSets?

Should we be using a stateful set for the deployment templates since we are a stateful app with a persistent volume?

I've read up on Stateful Sets in the Kubernetes patterns book. Since we are not a 'distributed' application (in an old n-tier sense and not a OOS License sense) I don't think we 'need' a stateful set.

The NXRM templates has a misleading template named deployment-statefulset.yml, the value that controls the logic for this is set to false. I believe the idiom is to just leave the file named 'deployment' and chose if it needs to be a stateful set in the values.txt
