This is likely a re-hash of this issue from last year: #31
I was able to use cameractrls last month on my first install of Arch and the exposure was manually editable. I've since needed to re-install Arch, and now cameractrls has the exposure option disabled outright. Not sure if this is an issue with the program or an issue on my system...
I have tried setting it via command line and am getting a permission error, even as root:
