Console output issue

First of all, this is awesome. Thanks!

I'm trying to use this in an artisan command, and am having trouble updating a progress bar from each process.

I've got two commands that do the same thing. One with fork, one without.
They just create a progress bar, count using Ray, and increment the bar. The one that uses Fork splits it into 4 processes.

Without Fork, the output is as expected.

When using Fork, it kinda works, but you can see that the output gets a bit muddled.

It may just not be possible, but it would great if it was.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm thinking the output is muddled because that bar is being updated in the child process. Directly update variables that belong to a parent process from a child process can lead to... unexpected behaviour.

I'm currently toying around with some ideas to fix this, stay tuned...

Absolutely. One project I had tried went from 2 minutes down to 19 seconds when splitting into 8 processes on an M1 Macbook.
