how to get children's for wildcard permissions

Hello,
Please help me understand if there is a canonical way to retrieve a list of entities to which "user" have access.
f.e. we give the following permissions

$user->givePermissionTo('posts.*.1,4,6');

how to retrieve 1,4,6? I'm expected to see something like $user->abilities('posts.*') but I don't see any function that can return it.

please advise.
