hasRole not defiend problem

i made a controller that login in users and redirect them according to their roles here is the function

but it gives me an error that 'Undefined method 'hasRole'' 
also here is my user model where i included all what is needed for hasRole to work:

So i want to know how to fix such problem?

Does dd($user) display a valid User?

But it looks like $user = Auth::user(); is returning a different User object than $user = $request->user() is.

make a dd(Auth::user()); and look what it is

so confusing!

Try:

// Get the logged-in user
-$user = Auth::user();
+dd($user = Auth::user(), $request->user());

Then paste the output here.

Or at least use a text-compare tool to identify what exactly is different between them.
