My game has Core and PRF_Core activated only.

I don't know if this is intended.
The paperclip related researches are in the core mod, I can still research it without PRF_Insanity installed. Also, there are two batteries in the power menu, they are buildable. Are they intended to be there?
I wonder if delete the paperclip researches from XML would address this issue?

It's actually a pretty severe issue, because using a comms console with drone HUD open (clicking a drone by mistake is enough) cause controls freeze, it's impossible even to pause the game, NOR exit to the main menu, so your only option is close the game by alt+f4.
It's happened to me once, and I managed to recreate this bug a couple of times to ensure that it's not one-time problem.
