It would be great to have kafka as destination. syslog-ng used in that pipeline is supporting kafka-c module (librdkafka), so the only thing that is needed is to have a proper configuration in place. I made a basic integration - you can find it here:

As per current guidelines , we will be only supporting Splunk, alternate destinations and edge processors as destination.

Great. I have created alternative version of sc4s that is supporting Kafka, evehthub, elasticsearch. So anyone could use that component to redirect event whenever want to (not necessary to splunk). I will not put any update to that project - I don't want to support splunk projects.

I will share the details soon.
