I am Jorge Luis Galvez Vallejo, recent PhD graduate from Iowa State University under Mark S. Gordon. My work focuses in porting algorithms and applications relevant in computational chemistry to high performance computing environments. I have specialized in this for the last 4 years and I love it with my heart and soul.
I am originally form Mexico and just got a job offer from Australia, however visa procedures are slow and I want to keep up doing the good work.
I am working on improving existing algorithms within the GAMESS quantum chemistry program and its C++/CUDA arm called: LibCChem. I am also heavily invested in a soon-to-be-released quantum chemistry application which greatly takes advantage of HPC resources. I also collaborate on the open source quantum chemistry code JuliaChem.
GAMESS is a free to use software and JuliaChem is fully open source.
With the funds that you give me I will continue to work on these applications to develop better and more powerful tools to enable quantum chemistry calculations at many levels! The money will go directly to keeping me alive, i.e. paying for food and utilities.

SelectThis is a generous donation that would help me continue developing code without much worries about money. This is around how much I would spend on a meal around the Iowa State Campus

SelectFish with tofu level sponsor. This is how much my favorite dish in Ames costs after tax and tip.
$100 a month
SelectGold level sponsor. A 100 USD donation would go extremely far in keeping me fed each month, specially keeping up my coffee and tea drinking.
This money would go directly to fund me staying alive.

SelectGaea's cradle level sponsor. This is how much a very expensive Magic The Gathering (R) card costs. I WON'T USE THE MONEY FOR ONE. This would let me code at my own pace without any much worry for anything else.
