About me

I'm András Maróy, I'm an engineering manager, developer and SRE. I try to open source as much as possible of what I do as a means to give back to the community. I've also contributed to a number of open source projects.

What I do

Professionally

Over the years I've filled various roles but recently I've been mostly focusing on backend development in Python and infrastructure work mostly in Terraform.

On the side

I like to dabble in all kinds of different projects like hacking my coffee machine, designing custom IoT devices for home automation, putting together a bunch of Raspberry Pis for a kubernetes cluster and much more. Most of these are open source on my profile with the goal of having everything available there.

Mentoring

I work as a mentor in a local bootcamp teaching different aspects of development including using git and the importance of open source.
