Hi ( ͡° ͜ʖ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌├┬┴┬┴

I'm mostly a maintainer and developer of various libraries and components related to homebrew development on Nintendo consoles. As a regular contributor within @devkitPro and @switchbrew, I mostly work on the inner plumbing and reverse engineering that makes it possible for people to make awesome software running on Horizon OS based consoles (i.e. the Switch and the 3DS).

I have a lot of interest in graphics development, having developed a GPU driver for the 3DS (citro3d) and helped port the mesa/nouveau OpenGL stack to the Switch; and my current main project is the development of a brand new lightweight and low level 3D graphics API for the Switch for use in homebrew, called deko3d. I'm very interested in seeing people use it! ( ͡ᵔ ͜ʖ ͡ᵔ)

I'm also interested in sound development. I have done a ton of research and work on sequenced music playback engines, and I've also enabled the usage of hardware mixing facilities on both 3DS and Switch. Another one of my work in progress projects is a sound system targeting both aforementioned platforms, and allowing for playback of sequenced music, streamed music and sound effects in an easy to use way.

Programming languages (and compilers) get me going. I've had experience contributing to open source programming languages such as AutoHotkey, and providing tools to assist developers that are using it. I also have language-related projects that are unfortunately unfinished due to lack of time and motivation.

And last but not least, operating system design and implementation is one of my passions. I have many opinions and ideas on how a modern operating system should look like, and I admire Horizon OS as an example of how to design an operating system in this decade, as opposed to dated & clunky designs such as Unix. I have toyed around with OS implementation in the past (i.e. FeOS and other failed attempts), and I would love to be able to work on a more serious undertaking.
