I have been programming for many years, for a living and for fun.
I have been attending and speaking at many conferences.
I have been contributing to more and more Open Source projects over the last years.

Since 2016 I have been working a lot with YAML and am now member of the YAML Spec Core team.
Together we have been improving the YAML world in various aspects.

I have been the author of or a major contributor to the following YAML projects:

• YAML::PP - YAML 1.2 Perl module
• yaml-test-suite - Official Test Suite
• yaml-test-matrix - Visualizing test results for various libraries
• yaml-runtimes - Docker runtime environments for various libraries
• yaml-test-schema - Test cases regarding Schema
• libyaml - One of the first and most important YAML libraries with many bindings and ports
• pyyaml - One of the first libraries, from the same author as libyaml
• www.yaml.info - Work in Progress. A tutorial and reference to help users and developers

I started in 2016 with contributing to existing Perl YAML modules. Then I started to write YAML::PP and contributed test cases to the YAML Test Suite. To see how other libraries perform I created the YAML Test Matrix and contributed to the YAML container runtimes.
I fixed bugs or added features to PyYAML and libyaml.
I am watching several YAML Github projects to help with questions where my expertise is useful.

More people are starting to write YAML libraries. The Test Suite and related projects are getting bigger and need to be updated. It is more work than I can do in my free time.
