himalaya cannot add email accounts

If i add a himalay account like this :

  accounts.email.accounts = {
    "eelco@davelab.nl" = {
      himalaya = {
        enable = true;
        # Don't forget to run `himalaya account sync` first!
        settings.sync = {
          enable = true;
        };
      };
    };
  };

I get an error saying:

       error: expected a list but found null: null

my file ~/.config/himalaya/config.toml only has the line [accounts] so the account dont get added. Thunderbird works totally fine. I have based my nix config on yours. Any idea how to solve this?

I don't use himalaya anymore. Perhaps something change recently in its home-manager module? You can try asking in https://github.com/nix-community/home-manager
