Does not use passive listeners to improve scrolling performance

We are using version 2.10.1 of the package and in the  _[PageSpeed Insights](https://pagespeed.web.dev)_ reports it's reporting an issue for scroll performance. Kindly suggest if there is any parameter that can be used to fix it.
