This is a Next.js project so you can run it on very different platforms. Self-hosting (with heroku, digitalocean or other providers) is possible. Certain features will not work, e.g. automatic image optimizations. You can switch those off in appConfig.ts but it will have a negative impact on page speeds.

Yes you can deploy ghost on heroku but you need credit card
