Using debug mode on Windows.

I know it may be a stupid question but I don't know how to use debug mode. Mean I try this:
kobodl --debug book get [redacted]

This happens:

What am I missing here?

This is the endlessly annoying issue with character encoding on Windows CMD. CMD does not use UTF-8 by default.

Can you try running this in Powershell instead, assuming you have Powershell v6 or newer?

If this doesn't work, can you try running chcp 65001 in powershell before running Kobodl?

Thanks for the feedback but none of those seem to work. I've tried several other things and none work. What it did seem to work for me was adding this in "debug.py":
with open('./debug.log', 'a', encoding="utf-8") as debuglog:
