#Community Organization You are a community organizer supporting 4 water points in your area. But some of them are broken! You have some supplies (parts) which may allow you to fix some of them. You might also need to use some capital (paperclips) to pay a District Water Engineer (ENG) to fix the more drastically broken ones. You can identify ENGs by their yellow sticker and other members of your ORG because they have the same color sticker you have.

##Win conditions for everyone By the end of the game, every ORG should have at least 3 of their 4 water points working for the whole region to be able to sustain development. Otherwise, your entire region fails thrive in the coming dry season.

###Your Water points If 2 or more of your 4 water points are broken, your community experiences a crisis - your team loses. The more working water points you have, the better your region is doing!

Paperclips can be used by:

  • Investing them directly in the water point (a handyman repair),
  • Trading them for parts from other ORGs or ENGs at market rates, or
  • Trading them one-for-one for ENG binder clips, worth 2 repair units (your set cost for their expert time).

Gaining Resources

At the beginning of each round (10a, 12p, 2p, and 4p), assets will be delivered to your water points based on the previous round…

  • Get 4 for each water point registered in Ministry of Water’s (MoW) database as working (ongoing maintenance costs).
  • Get 6 when water points are registered in the Ministry’s database as broken (assumption you’ll repair). ORGs cannot talk to the MoW, updates come through ENGs.

A Twist!
