splash screen skipping frames

every time the splash screen runs frames are skipped. maybe cutting down the splash screen time can help.

I think you're right...we'll change the time to see if it fixes this issue.

It seems like it is skipping frames, but it really isn't. Its actually three different images in the background rotating. I think switching to just in still image will make it look better.
