Setup: installation help with nginx

I set up a test instance of snappymail on a home Debian bookworm server and for some reason, it is not working. I have all of the required dependencies:

I adapted the ssh instructions for my own use case and all the permissions look correct:

and with the exception of changing the location of my snappymail installation,

But I'm getting the following permission denied error:

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Duh. nginx did not have access to my home directory.
