remember address - still asks for credentials #1190
Comments
Check that you enabled Remeber Credentials as well.
Also make sure Touch ID or Face ID is enabled and Code App is given access to them. They are required for this feature.
… I used the ssh protocol with key auth
However when i tap the saved remote it still asks me for login creds as
shown below.
What am i doing wrong here ?

I don't see any options "Remember Credentials" I only see "Remember Address" and that is ON I don't use touch id or faceid. Does that mean I am not eligible to experience this feature ? |
That's right. It is by design to protect your credentials. |
is it an ios limitation, or has it been implemented by the devs in codeapp ? Can it be tweaked in the source code ? I really don't wish to enter username and password everytime. |
It is implemented by the app. Alternatively, we can allow passcode verification. I will think about this. |
Yes, the in-app passcode can be a nice tradeoff. |
