Face dedection not working on FireHD8 2020
With activated face detection and test, the following error message shows up: "Missing appropriate libraries to process Face detection or Barcode reading. These features may not work on this device"

  • Device: FireHD8 with Google Play Services and playstore installed
  • Applicaiton version 0.9.5b9 installed from google playstore

same error on the hd 7.

And yes, I have GAPPs installed.

I am getting the same error message on my Fire HD 10 (gen 11).
This repository post in this obsolete repository already explains possible root causes: WallPanel-Project/wallpanel-android#69.

Updating Google Play Services did not help.
