The Neurocomputinglab has quite some nml models in active use. It would be nice to publish these to e.g. https://neuroml-db.org. This strengthens the nml ecosystem and gives nmlcc an even better reason to exist/be used.
We had a small brainstorm yesterday on possible projects for @llandsmeer, and perhaps for a student of his who'll start in november. All models in neuroml-db.org were seeded with a one-pass conversion in 2018, and outside of Padraigs group, the lab at Erasmus is to our knowledge the only place actually using the format in the course of science and training of students. We'll get back from @llandsmeer on how much effort Mario and Christos want to put on building an nml-ecosystem, but if that is nonzero, having some of their models as the first contributions to neuroml-db.org could be a good start for them, and for us because we'd make sure the models would be completely supported by nmlcc and Arbor.
