Could you clarify what you mean? TB for Android generally does autodiscovery when setting up an account. There are a few issues on this issue tracker that cover certain aspects.

Hi, friend

It's a feature we and many were anxious for. Autodiscover for IMAP. AFAIK it would use same autodiscover method as Thunderbird.

I tested it and it doesn't work on our ISP. On TB for Desktop it works, autodiscovers the account.

I read somewhere it's still being developed, no?

Can you provide more details on your ISP? Does it use the standard autoconfig database, or does it provide its own configuration? The only issue I am aware of is 8158, and one we recently fixed. You can also try Thunderbird for Android Beta. You mentioned you are using version 5, is this K-9 Mail 5.xxx ?
