Overview of Complex Survey Analysis

We need to be clear about the type of surveys we're talking about.

Some feedback from the Spring Seminar:

• [1] I think it would be helpful to give a little more conceptual information now about how complex data analysis differs from SRS analysis and why the design object is necessary, just so folks who don't have much experience with complex data analysis can have that background. The announcement for the course didn't make super clear that this was for analysis of complex survey data, so I suspect some people who don't normally account for the design in their analyses might have stumbled in without fully understanding the implications of all that.
