Cannot install shen-scheme on Apple M2

I'm on Macbook Air M2 with macOS 15.1.1 installed

$ brew install Shen-Language/homebrew-shen/shen-scheme
Error: shen-language/shen/shen-scheme: Unsupported special dependency :x11

chez is already installed via Homebrew

What's wrong here?

hi @anta40, those homebrew formulas are not being maintained, I should probably remove any reference to them.

Download the latest shen-scheme-v0.XX-src.tar.gz source release from https://github.com/tizoc/shen-scheme/releases

and follow these instructions:

https://github.com/tizoc/shen-scheme?tab=readme-ov-file#building-from-the-source-distribution

Or alternatively try the macOS binary for arm64
