@tonythomas01 google-drive-photos-to-commons is a really long name for a tool. We should consider changing it to something like gdrive2commons.

google-drive-photos-to-commons is a really long name for a tool - Agreed.

I am more inclined to go for something like gdrive-to-commons instead of the literal 2 there :-(. Couple of reasons:

  1. gdrive2commons would show up us a spelling mistake in pycharm, which it is.
  2. Some practices here - https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator/Creating_and_renaming_projects#Good_practices_for_name_and_description.

On the birght side, our repo is named gdrive-to-commons in the dash form and I think it should coincide with the tool name.

I will assign this to you to see how we can get this changed on tools.

@tonythomas01 It seems like it is currently not possible to rename a tool on Toolforge. If we want to name change, then the only option we have is that we create a new tool, and then shut down the current one. Then create a ticket in https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/view/3975/, asking for its deletion. If you have basic steps documented somewhere that explains how you hosted this app; then I am willing to take a shot at it.
