Or did it froze the current keyboard effect?

Yes, the first and last versions of example_app that I tested had the same lighting effect: the keyboard changed from the default blue to mostly white, and the brightness increased from my dimmed setting of 15%.

What do you mean by mostly? are not all key done?

The first successful build that I made with the Copilot change appeared to have the same effect as the latest build you attached in the previous issue thread. The keys changed to bright white, but a few stayed the default blue (I didn't note which ones). I didn't check the other lights, as I was focused on the keyboard.

I'll pay closer attention when I conduct the new version tests you requested, later today. If necessary, I'll send pics and/or further logs.

@StormyCoder All right you can reboot the device to have default blue back.

Alright so do test with version 1 and 2 like this

• Make sure keyboard is default blue (use reboot to make it default blue)
• Run the app and start usb capture
• Notice which key is not coloured of color i said or just take the picture and check if other part are coloured as i said
• send me the console output pcapng and the picture

Do same thing for 2nd one too.
This should be last test we need hopefully

This should make the power button be rainbow too
while making keyboard fully white.

If that's successful run ./alienfx_cli probe it you ask u to do u wanna test say yes and then it would ask do u wanna test "Alien ware ELC" or "Dell technology" skip alienware one and try dell technology one. It would turn your lights green one by one and u can give them name like which key it is. Let me know if it hangs your keyboard

Keyboard is fully white, power button & all other lights are rainbow effect. However, when "alienfx_cli probe" asks about changing colors, the keyboard hangs. Additionally, after reboot the power button & lights remain in rainbow mode (keyboard returns to default blue/cyan).

Nice, that means keyboard and tron are fully supported 😁. I want to add you in credits do u want the name StromyCoder or something else in there?

This is diffrent issue!! why wont issue finish. uff anyways if you got a external keyboard can u run probe while capturing packets and send me its pcapng and its console log.
