This will greatly expand use case to include modelling patches of plants that already existing and future thinning trajectories.

Instead of only allowing plants to enter via germination of seeds, we want to add ability to reload some existing plants (and densities).

This would also allow for simulation of very long time frames by connecting patch end back to patch start

Naturally connects with #152
