<p>
The core_profiles IDS is a container object that has a single data object, a double(:) with all the timeslice values for scalar data.
The core_profiles IDS also holds five container objects with data, or meta data, or other containers:
ids_properties, code, vacuum_toroidal_field, global_quantities and profiles_1d, respectively.
profiles_1d holds the following containers: e_field, grid, electrons, ion(1:nion) and neutral(1:nneut). The species containers (electron, ions and neutrals) each have a velocity container. Each neutral and ion container has four container objects: state, element, label and neutral_type, respectively. Finally, the state container holds two containers: neutral_type and velocity. The core_profiles IDS has a total of 21 container objects with 470 data (or meta data) objects.
