Homarr Control Docker Container

Hey, is it possible to manage a remote Docker Host / Docker Containers that are running in a different VM on Proxmox?
Maybe anything in the config files that i can change to make it work?
Like it is showing in the Homarr docs:

I tried editing the "Dockerfile" in /opt/Homarr/ by adding the environment variable that is described in the second link and then restarting the LXC, but that didnt do anything.
