It'd be nice to have some of the tracker functionalities accessible right in the footer.

Things like current reading speed, time, start, stop button, etc.

Hi,

will think about it. I would like to minimize platform/device specific options/functionality to a minimum and the space on the footer on smaller devices is first of all already very limited and second potentially planned to be used for sth like #3 or inline chapter progress

We will see ;)
