Vasil Hard Fork #249

I'm working on adding Vasil (Babbage) primitives following the CDDL provided in the ledger repo: If nothing changes, the work should be pretty straightforward and the event model won't be needing breaking changes (just additional properties). My main concern is that pipelining (whenever it arrives) might be introducing changes to Ouroboros mini-protocols. Some early docs showed plans for a new mini-protocol, but John Woods mentions that it won't be necessary after all: https://twitter.com/santicarmuega/status/1508055796889829383 Any insight on the subject would be really appreciated! |

FYI, we're making progress. The heavy lifting is done by Pallas library and we just merged support for Vasil / Babbage through this PR: txpipe/pallas#126 The next step is updating the dependency in Oura and improving the data model with babbage-specific data (such as script refs). The goal is to have a beta version of Oura by the time testnet gets the HF. |

Vasil / Babbage support is now available in version 1.5 🎊 We're currently using testnet to check for any regressions. So far we found one related to chain-sync headers in N2N connections, which has been already fixed in v1.5.1. Any issues / feedback is welcome. |

Hi,
I'm just wondering if there's going to be active development to keep in line with the upcoming Vasil Hard Fork, specifically if there's plans to first meet the Public Testnet deadline and then the Mainnet deadline releases?
Thanks!
