Prerequisites

  • I verified that this is not a filter list issue. Report any issues with filter lists or broken website functionality in the uAssets issue tracker.
  • This is NOT a YouTube, Facebook or Twitch report. These sites MUST be reported by clicking their respective links.
  • This is not a support issue or a question. For support, questions, or help, visit /r/uBlockOrigin.
  • I performed a cursory search of the issue tracker to avoid opening a duplicate issue.
  • The issue is not present after disabling uBO in the browser.
  • I checked the documentation to understand that the issue I am reporting is not normal behavior.

I tried to reproduce the issue when...

  • uBO is the only extension.
  • uBO uses default lists and settings.
  • using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

On stardb.gg there is a banner about their partnership with Lootbar. I've been trying to block this popup.

Image

Using the Block Element button adds a Network Filter as so:

It blocks it until you reload the page again, and then the image is back again.

So this is likely to do with a bug with how network filters do images?

A specific URL where the issue occurs.

https://stardb.gg/en

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Visit stardb.gg

  2. Click "Block Element" on the StarDB x Lootbar image

  3. Reload the page

Now, the image should be visible again

Expected behavior

Upon blocking the image and reloading, the image should not appear again.

Actual behavior

The image appeared again despite me wishing for it not to reappear.

uBO version

1.62.0

Browser name and version

Floorp 11.22.0 (64-bit)

Operating System and version

Archlinux (what version do i even put here, it's rolling release)

You need to refresh while bypassing the cache (Ctrl + Shift + R if you are using windows).

I'm not a windows user, but I just flushed my Firefox cache and that seemed to work.

It's the same button combo on linux if I'm not wrong. You don't need to clear the whole Firefox cache.
