Many open datasets are used throughout the textbook. A usual term of an open license is linking back to the license terms where possible. Since this can be accomplished easily for our application, we should endeavor to implement these links. Captions of figures, maps, tables, or images that were built using open data should indicate this with a URL to the respective in the caption, e.g.: "Data from City of Vancouver and licensed under the Open Government License - Vancouver".

Adding html and linked content to captions is solved with Bookdown's "text references". The latest code includes text references where needed, but does not link to the external license resource.

However this can likely easily be done with a find and replace.
