Versioning with possible undo functions

It would be lovely to have a plugin available which supports versioning with undo function, meaning you can go back to different versions of your previously edited content. With the ability to store the changes inside the browsers offline storage capabilities (localstorage).

Maybe having the ability to configure the storage from sessionstorage (might be the default) to localstorage, with the option to give the "page" a unique identifier (which per application differs) so you can tie to correct history to the correct context in the application you are building.
