Stackblitz prevew window disconnecting from app

Stackblitz has introduced changes that cause the external preview window to "time out". This requires the user to "re-connect" the application periodically.

Need to investigate a better way to preview the application.

Ideas:

• fix the app to work in the embedded flow?
