Make available in uv

Would be nice to have it readily available through the supreme packet manager uv. (Though acknowledging earlier posts about it not being dependent on other libs.)

Me neither. Just if convenience and availability appeals to you. Looks fairly straight forward if one believes everything AI says:

Step	Action
1	Add a pyproject.toml at the repo root with at least: [project] name = "your‑pkg" version = "0.1.0" dependencies = []
2	Create an entry‑point script (e.g., your_pkg/__main__.py or a console script in pyproject.toml): [project.scripts] your‑cmd = "your_pkg:main"
3	Commit & push the changes to the default branch (usually main).
4	Tag a release (e.g., v0.1.0) so uvx can resolve a stable version.
5	Test locally: uv pip install -e . then uvx your‑cmd to ensure the entry point works.
6	Use with uvx: uvx git+https://github.com/username/repo.git@v0.1.0 (or omit @tag to use the default branch).

After step 6 the package can be run directly via uvx your‑cmd without installing it globally.

Was about to release 1.1.2 to address this request but when uploading to PyPi it clashed with another project with a very similar name.
For now, the last version in our repository should allow the example you mentioned:

uvx git+https://github.com/unode/firefox_decrypt

as well as:

git clone git@github.com:unode/firefox_decrypt.git
uvx --from firefox_decrypt firefox-decrypt

it also already works with the testing PyPi registry:

uvx -i https://test.pypi.org/simple firefox-decrypt
