Tahoe 26.4 guest on Sonoma host: hangs and missing icons #7663

Describe the issue
I updated a Sequoia guest VM to Tahoe via Software Update. I am encountering frequent hangs and I'm seeing several missing icons.
I believe this to be related to iconservicesagent crashing. There are several messages in console:
Subsystem: com.apple.iconservices
Category: default
Unknown device class: 9
Is UTM setting the device class to 9? Is this Virtualization.framework? I have tried to reinstall Tahoe multiple times as well as Erase Contents and Settings on the VM to no effect.
