Prettier or other code fomatter default styles?

I just submitted my first PR to the project here: #299

I noticed that my editors default formatting rules changed quite a lot of the existing formatting in the files I was working on. I rolled that back so the PR isn't full of formatting changes, but I wanted to see if there was a default code style the project uses or tools to enforce that?

I see that there is some linting in the pre-publish step but I didn't see anything enforcing or automatically applying code formatting.

Let me know if I just missed it or if it's not present if it would be a welcome addition to the project.
