"Auto" Piped values are displayed in the individual instruments, but they are not showing up in Report or Export. If I open the instrument and click save, then the values show up in report/export.
Some kind of staging vs commit is happening.

We unfortunately haven't had a team willing to offer a general support budget for this module in years, which a requirement before we can log time on something. @tertek, I might loop you in since you've shown interested in this module recently.

I will say I suspect this has been the expected behavior of this module since it was created.

Hi, just chiming in to say I encountered the same issue. After configuring the cross-project piping, no fields were updating in my destination project when viewed in Reports, until I opened up a record in the relevant form --- then I saw a message that piping was initiating, and indeed the relevant data was piped in, but only for that record.
So as I understand it, I would need to open and save each of the hundreds of records in the project manually every time I wanted updated data piped in. It seems to me that this module would have tremendous value if it worked as expected! That's a shame it hasn't had a support budget.

@rosemm, there is a Pipe All Records feature that I don't know much about personally (see the module setting that mentions it). Also, one group recently funded changes to make that button work in more scenarios! Those changes are included in version 1.5, released last month.

Thanks! I'll look into that! We have version 1.5.0, so that should work.

I've had a chance to test the functionality of the "Pipe All Records" button, and I'm afraid it doesn't appear to be working for my use case. I enabled it in the configuration settings for the cross-project piping module, and now I do see a purple "Pipe All Records" button on my Record Status Dashboard, but clicking it doesn't pipe anything. Still, the only way to get fields to pipe is by opening the relevant form for each record individually --- that starts the piping for that record.

I'm working in redcap_v13.4.12, and have Cross-Project Piping - v1.5.0

I'm sorry to hear that... Well, hopefully someone will pick up the baton and carry it a little further at some point.

@rosemm & @soumyabrataghosh, is the problem fixed for you in v1.5.3?
