It seems that "manifest_version": 2 is deprecated, I changed to 3 and then the error dissapeared from the extension.

Youtube has added a shortcut ctrl + arrow so I tried to change the keycode of the script, to 90 and 88, but it´s still not working.

Any solution? Thanks for your work

I took a look at the code and found that the functionality is similar to another extension. youtube-speed-ctrl, which is using manifest 3.

so I fork that and added the functionality in. https://github.com/pekcheey/youtube-speed-controls/
using ctrl-J and ctrl+K to skip forward and backwards
