Search generates no results

On and off during my development I've been having issues with the search queries. Sometimes when I spin up a new environment the searches generate an empty result, and I can't figure out why. I seem to have the exact same settings everywhere, but the search reveals no changes.

I have rebuilt the search index many many times, but that doesn't seem to affect anything. I get the feeling it has something to do with channel or seller... but I don't know.

Here's are three queries to illustrate my issue; first I show a simple search based on facetValue id, then I show the two facet values I have. Finally I show that there is one product in my test setup.

Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior?

My setup is on Northflank, and has worked before just fine. But after taking it down and relaunching it fails to find products... again. I am not using Elasticsearch.

What would be the approach to debug this?

Of course, when I finally post a question I realize the issue.

If the localized version of the product is not set up, then it will skip that product.
