SWR + SSG (initialData) for Client Components / App Router Next 15.

SWR docs still mention using getStaticProps which is not available for the App router, since Next 13.

I'm still unable to find some up to date docs on SSG for Client components, given my Page.tsx is a Client Component and I do useSWR.

@gavan-x In App Router, getStaticProps is gone.
To "SSG" the initial data for a client component:

1. Make your Page a Server Component (default).
2. Fetch the data there (this runs at build time if you run next build), or dynamically if you use dynamic.
3. Pass it to the Client Component via props or SWRConfig fallback.

This effectively achieves SSG-initial-data. The "Page" fetches once at build time -> passes JSON to Client -> Client SWR takes over.
