Contributing to Web Sketches Showcase

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the Web Sketches Showcase repository! Your contributions help improve the quality and diversity of interactive web sketches available to users worldwide.

How to Contribute:

  1. Fork the Repository: Click the "Fork" button in the upper right corner of the repository's page on GitHub to create your own copy of the repository.

  2. Clone the Repository: Clone your forked repository to your local machine using the following command:

    git clone https://github.com/vickkie/CursorEffects-Sketches.git
  3. Create a New Branch:

  • Move into the directory of the cloned repository and create a new branch for your contribution:
cd CursorEffects-Sketches

git checkout -b feature/new-feature
  1. Make Changes
  • Make your desired changes or additions to the sketches within the repository. Ensure your changes adhere to the coding standards and guidelines of the project.
  1. Commit Changes:
  • Once you've made your changes, commit them to your branch with descriptive commit messages:
git add .
git commit -m "Add new feature: [feature name]"
git push origin feature/new-feature
  1. Submit a Pull Request:
  • Go to the GitHub page of your forked repository. You should see a "Compare & pull request" button. Click on it, fill out the pull request template, and submit your pull request.
