Nice! Thanks for the idea. Here are my thoughts (a lot of them are frankly my personal preference):

Glad you like it @yyx990803. Here are some options we could go further with. First two are flat logos with two shapes being the same color except shape below are 50% transparent. Now that looks good, but in reality logo would not be easily printable on a t-shirt for example. Other way to go with duotone is to use similar tones that would produce similar effect. I think this feels like the best, because it works great on light and dark background and would print great on a t-shirt (just not on yellow and orange ones) My thinking here is that yellow and orange should be dominant brand colors since lightning bolt is always represented in illustrations in these colors. Let me know your thoughts on this P.S. About color exploration, I did explore some of the dominant colors and I got to say to me purple one feels the right color (but it's just my opinion). I also really like orange and gray one. |

Based on tweet from Evan that this bolt logo is a placeholder and another tweet that confirms my idea that logo shouldn't have any connection to Vue I got cracking.
I messed around with a few ideas and colors and came up with this.
It incorporates "V" as in Vite and lightning bolt as in "Lightning fast" (from readme.md) and also to be visually close to current placeholder emoji so that it still have resemblance to current project "logo".
Here's only an icon with B&W versions too.
Those could most certainly be used as config file icon in IDE for example.
