Exclude entry files

Hi, I tried to integrate Vite in my existing project and found an issue. Well, it's not really an issue and I managed to get over it, but I am much appreciated to anyone helping me clear the confusion.

[x] I cloned the repo and debugged myself

The issue is that in the repo, I have a index.html, and some .html reports generated from cypress, which are inside cypress-coverage. When I ran vite --debug, it printed out hundreds of lines of vite:deps, and finally JavaScript heap out of memory showed up.

The first intuition I had is to try excluding those things. So I searched for some "exclude" keywords and found optimizedeps-entries.

First I tried exclude: ['**/cypress-coverage/**'],. It didn't work. Then I tried entries: ['index.html'], and it WORKED!

Is this the correct way to solve such a problem? If not, please guide me how I can use Vite better. Thanks!
