French dictionary

Hello,
I installed the update version 2.7.4 and my French dictionary has disappeared. I only have the option for American and English spelling corrections. In which directory should I copy my French dictionaries?

Which operating system are you using? When you ask for help, you have to include this information, otherwise it is often impossible to answer. Since you created this as a bug ticket, the template explained this clearly. Please don't ignore it.

My dictionaries are in the hunspell directory. But I can't select them in the "Add Dictionary" tool. How can I use the dictionaries (.aff and .dic) I used in Novelwriter 2.4?

Finally, I found the solution. I've renamed "fr-classique" into "fr" in the "hunspell" directory. 🙂 Thanks.

The text above the box gives you links to the places to select dictionaries from. The tool supports importing the extensions. The manual process you're trying is mentioned in the documentation I linked.

Maybe Enchant (the spell checker library) is a bit picky on naming. I'm not sure.
