VM Replication informations

Hi,

Is their a way to get replication state of a virtual machine ?

I can read ReplicationConfigSpec from VirtualMachine.Config.RepConfig

And i got an object like this :

But I dont have the replication state.

I have found that some replication errors can cause :

• the Virtualmachine to have a nil Config.RepConfig
• the Virtualmachine to have a Config.RepConfig but no informations about failure.
  • enabled replications with a failure causing a "Not Active" state in vsphere ui dont trigger the paused state in Config.RepConfig

Hope someone can help me to get the replication state.

Are you referring to a particular field in the UI or what do you mean by „replication state“?

I want to know the replication status (Active, Failed, With Errors, ...) and the current Live RPO.

Not directly.
You have to go to Vsphere Replication Manager Webui (Menu > Site Recovery > Replication Manager).
It is planned to support VRM with govmomi ?

Currently we don't have plans to support VRM.
