With the new release of Volcano Scheduler, Kthena, Dashboard, and Volcano Global, Volcano's work for 2025 has come to a close. We extend our deepest gratitude to all contributors in the Volcano community.
2025 is a year of rapid advancement for Cloud Native for AI. Leveraging its prior expertise in AI training, Volcano has seized the initiative in this revolutionary wave. Volcano has also introduced new subprojects Kthena and AgentCube to complete the Volcano ecosystem.
In 2026, Volcano will continue to explore the field of Cloud Native for AI while ensuring the stability of existing businesses such as big data. To achieve this goal, we have proposed a draft of the Volcano 2026 roadmap. We welcome everyone to provide valuable feedback on this Roadmap draft.
Especially the volcano scheduler section. We aim to establish Volcano Scheduler as the de facto standard for AI schedulers. To achieve this goal, we need more help from everyone.
